After returning back to Greece from Maldives we decided we weren’t ready to say goodbye to summer without visiting one more Greek island. Angelo and I have both visited Mykonos island already loads of times with friends but never experienced the island as a couple and we always wanted to go there together as its no doubt one of the most beautiful Greek islands. So we decided it would be the perfect island to visit as in the beginning of October as its still warm in Greece usually till the end of October and it would be much less crowded.
CAVOTAGOO MYKONOS
Cavo Tagoo is a 5 star luxury hotel that has the reputation of one of the Top Luxury Hotels in Mykonos so I was beyond excited we were going to experience staying at this hotel.
It is ideally located in between Mykonos Town and Mykonos Port, about 10 minute walk to the Town although i would still recommend renting a car if you want to fully explore the island which is what we did! 🙂
GOLDEN VILLA
Upon arrival we were informed that we had been upgraded to their Two Bedroom Villa which I can’t even describe in words how beautiful it was. The décor at Cavo Tagoo is exactly how I hope I will decorate my house one day! Perfect island vibes details and a beautiful pool! The interior details were mainly white and grey colors with lots of wood and gold details! Seriously my dream house and we were pleasantly surprised as we had complimentary fresh fruit and wine waiting for us at our Villa!
We were really expecting a lovely suite but wow the Villa we stayed in was hugeeee! In both Bedrooms of our Golden Villa there is an ensuite Bathroom with Jacuzzi, the most beautiful wooden sinks I have ever seen, a living room, a dining room and a private pool with lots of comfy couches to lounge and tan as well as a wooden deck in the pool! Also, Cavo Tagoo has the reputation of the best Sunset view in Mykonos make sure when you visit not to miss the sunset either from your Suite or from the Main Pool Area!
DINING AT CAVO TAGOO
As expected breakfast at Cavo Tagoo did not disappoint! Lots of healthy options for me and my favorite smoothie juices especially the watermelon juice was my absolute favorite! Of course I splurged a bit too as there were so many pastry options I couldn’t resist trying which were super yummy!
On our first day we ordered Room Service and literally the dishes were mouth watering!
We were so sad we only spent 2 days at this dreamy place.. We loved everything about Cavo Tagoo and hope to be back soon! Thank you Cavo Tagoo Mykonos for this amazing stay and hospitality! I highly recommend experiencing this hotel and would love to return!
