For the last couple of years I have been extremelly lucky and have traveled to some incredible destinations while combining my work with my passion for photography, travel and fashion. I traveled to some bucketlist destinations including Seychelles, Cuba, India, Maldives, Bahamas, the Greek islands, Cappadokia to mention a few.. This last year with the Covid virus outbreak just like many other people our travel plans pretty much went out of the window. We had planned to visit some beautiful destinations but had to put all our plans on hold for the foreseeable future. On the one hand I was disappointed as I was looking forward to traveling with our baby and showing our baby the world but on the other hand staying at home gave us time to renovate our home and decorate our baby’s room!
Decorating our baby’s room was a bit of a struggle for me as this room was our in-house office and we had to do a complete makeover to make it baby friendly. We literally had no idea where to start from. Luckily I found the most lovely and high quality furniture the Caprio Set at Mamas and Papas which perfectly fit the boho vibe look we had in mind. So when we ordered the furniture I was unsure of how to decorate the wall above our baby’s crib as it is the first thing you see when you enter the room..
While I was looking at the destinations we were supposed to travel to I came accross this lovely family run company, Enjoy the Wood. The company was founded in 2015 by a small Ukrainian family and since then they have grown their team and their business and are creating unique and beautiful handcrafted products for people all over the world! I absolutely loved their 3D maps and thought it would be a great idea to decorate the wall above our baby’s crib with one of their birch plywood 3D maps so we can look forward to the destinations we will take our baby to one day!
When they agreed to partner with me and send me one of their handcrafted 3D world maps I was so excited and couldn’t wait for it to arrive! We chose the 3D World map in Terra Color (Size Large) and I must say I was impressed as I really appreciate the intricasy and uniqueness of each of their pieces. The high quality and amount of detail that goes into each piece is really impressive! It looks even more beautiful that what I was expecting!
It did take a bit of time to set up the map on the wall but we really enjoyed it and learned a bit of geography in the process in such a fun way! Now that we set up the gorgeous map we love dreaming about all the places we will explore till we are able to travel the world again! 🙂
Thank you Enjoy the Wood for partnering with me to decorate our baby’s room.
As always, all honest opinions are my own.
